I was born in Waxahache, Texas, in 1979.  Then one day I discovered  the guitar.  Art, and especially music, is my life.  Please feel free to browse.  I am currently in the studio working on a new project, venturing into new areas of music.

I have a wonderful, supportive wife and family.  I also have a wonderful and supportive miniature schnauzer named Tate, who seems to protect me more than anyone else from the evils of the world.  He really is one of my best friends on the planet.

When I set out to do music full time, everyone was behind me.  I set out to do something different.  I have no interest in being labeled in any way as an artist, seeking the freedom to write about anything that comes to mind.  Lately, issues of humanity in our culture have been prevalent.

Beautifully Misunderstood explores American tragedies, specifically the eradication, displacement, and genocide of it's native people.  I wrote one song after reading about families resorting to extreme measures to make a living during the Gold Rush.  There are also a couple of love songs dedicated to my beautiful wife, as well as a song written for my mother.

I'm proud of this new record project.  It has attitude, and features some talented friends who provided lead guitar, production, and incredible rhythm work.
